THE AMI AFFLUENCE PROGRAM
While AMI offers a variety of levels of
participation which might consist of only one course or 25 hours of
consulting, about 85% of our clients from across Canada have chosen to
proceed with our all inclusive Affluence Program.
It all starts with you, the owner and chief
executive. When you set out in private practice you probably had
envisioned your “ideal scene”.
You had probably counted on having to put in
some years of hard work after several years of hard training, but you
knew it would all pay off eventually, giving you the means and the time
to enjoy life. There is one small detail left out of your education,
however, that is the key to your degree of success in reaching your
goals: management skills.
Our company works with you as the owner of
the practice and helps you take full control of it (which does NOT mean
doing all the work yourself) by helping you become a skilled executive
who runs a finely tuned team.
The AMI Affluence Program addresses all
areas of your practice. It includes the following key steps:
A.
CONSULTING:
1. DATA GATHERING: There are in-depth
confidential questionnaires for your staff, yourself and your spouse, as
well as a personality profile for one and all to complete. We will also
require historical statistical information regarding your practice. This
data, once collected, is forwarded back to our consultant.
2.
ANALYSIS OF DATA AND PRESENTATION: We will analyze the above data
provided to isolate the precise areas and points that need to be
fine-tuned or overhauled to allow for expansion to occur. An AMI
consultant will review the results with you and “try on” various
solutions to find the ones that “fit” you and your team.
3.
STRATEGIC PLAN: The consultant will now draw up a strategic plan
encompassing all the steps needed to help you reach your goals, which
will probably include increasing the efficiency and profitability of
your practice.
4. IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIC PLAN: Once full
agreement is reached on the approach and the plan, the consultant will
work closely with you to implement each step of the plan and to “de-bug”
any step not smoothly going in.
5. MONITORING, REVIEW AND
ADJUSTMENT: The statistics of the practice will be monitored on a weekly
basis by the consultant to ensure that the implementation of the plan is
creating the anticipated expansion, with adjustments made in
consultation with you.
B.
COURSES:
The real bottom line on any practice
difficulties is that there is an untrained executive running (or not
running) the show -- you. The other consulting companies in Canada all
make the same mistake: they improve the practice through consultations
but leave it all to fall back again because they did not and do not know
how to train the key executive to not only maintain the changes but how
to continue the growth of the practice on a continuing basis without
further intervention from consultants. That is our unique approach and
why we are not as costly as other companies.
You will not have to
rely on continuing (and costly) consultations after completing these
courses. The AMI Affluence Program is a one-time program designed to
help you get your practice on the right track and provide you with the
tools you need to keep it on track and growing.
Out of about 27
different management and people skills courses we offer, you and your
AMI consultant select the few that are most suited to your needs. These
courses average 20 hours in length and address:
staff and patient relationships,
communication skills,
the formulas for business success,
management by statistics,
executive skills,
sales,
strategic planning
and many other aspects of managing your
practice.
These courses are studied in a one-on-one tutoring style on your own
chosen time-table and the emphasis is on practical exercises to increase
your executive and people skills and be able to apply the new skills
back at your practice.
